PLANTE. is a Montreal, Quebec-based French brand selling seeds and small hydroponic growing systems, built for people who want to grow their own food and plants at home in an everyday, design-forward way. As a new brand in the plant space, it needed an identity distinctive enough to stand out on a shelf while still feeling natural, warm, and trustworthy, built around more than just a leaf icon and a green colour.
A hand-lettered wordmark where the brand name itself is drawn into the shape of a leaf, turning typography into botanical form. An earth-based color system of greens and browns, paired with kraft packaging, carries that same grown-from-the-ground feeling across every touchpoint.

The concept started with the French verb planter ("to plant"), reframing the brand as an action rather than a category, fitting naturally with the brand's Quebec roots. That idea shaped the logo, letters curling into a leaf and stem, then a full style sheet locked in typography and the green/brown palette. From there it extended into kraft stand-up pouches for seed packaging, oversized wordmark crops on shipping boxes, and a repeating leaf pattern used across unboxing and interior packaging.
